Cover Reveal - Wings of Tavea

Having recently finished Wings of Arian, I was looking forward to finding out about the next book.  That time has come.  The cover for the second installment, Wings of Tavea, has been released just today!  Check it out below...

coming November 2012

Kiora is rapidly learning that evil and lies come in shades of black and white and swirling greys, but nothing could have prepared her for the shock of leaving Meros. Kiora and her protector Emane step through the pass into a world they never knew existed but were always meant to save, only to find it far worse than they could have ever imagined. Good has been forced into hiding for its own survival, while the rest of the land bows to the Shadow, a force that pushes any remaining thoughts of Dralazar from Kiora’s mind. This land is full of new creatures, each more dangerous than the last. Her visions have taken on a deadly twist, and magic, or what comes of it, was never so real. And then there is Alcander: a Tavean, their guide, and an entirely different kind of trouble.

Cover Reveal - Redheads are Soulless

When Heather of SupaGurl Books first told me about this book, I was very curious. Being a redhead myself, I wondered just what angle the book was going to take, so I volunteered to take part in the cover reveal. When I found out that Heather, herself, had designed the cover, I was very, VERY intrigued. When I finally saw the cover, I was impressed. Take a gander at the cover for Redheads are Soulless by Heather White!

When new student, Jason, shows up, Sofia's world is turned upside down. She doesn't understand why he wants to befriend her so badly... And, just when she thinks she can trust him, trouble appears.

Jason's twin brother, Robbie, moves into town, and things go haywire. Sofia is now running for her life - and Jason is forced to share hidden secrets with her. Astarte's Wrath Cover Reveal!

Hello, readers!  Today marks the first ever cover reveal to take place on STNC and I, personally, think it's a great one!  For all of you Trisha Wolfe fans out there, prepare to feast your eyes on the cover the the forthcoming prequel to Destiny's Fire, Astarte's Wrath.  Before we move on to the cover reveal portion of this post, however, take a look at the plot description!

A Kythan Guardians Novella

Two thousand years before Dez Harkly developed her secret powers, Kythan Astarte vowed to free the Kythans from the binds that enslaved them to the Egyptian pharaohs and sorcerers. Discover the prophecy that originated from a very different time, and spans generations to link two very different girls...This is the beginning.

Set against the backdrop of the Battle of Actium, in the city of Alexandria, Star struggles with her guardian duties as her feelings for the newly named pharaoh of Egypt grow deeper. Not only is Caesarian her duty, he’s the son of Cleopatra, and he’s…human. All of which makes their love forbidden.

But when a conspiracy linked to Caesar, Caesarian’s own father, creeps its ways into Alexandria, Star must choose between helping her fellow Kythans free themselves of their servitude, or protecting her charge—the last pharaoh—while Egypt burns around her.

Is your interest piqued yet?  How about an excerpt?

Excerpt:

Whenever the sky bleeds, covering the once-blue pallet with crimson, and the bright ball of fire burns through billowy puffs of white, staining them and the earth in hues of red-orange and amber…and ash floats on a non-existent breeze, I know the Narcolym Guardians are waging a battle.
Shuttering my window, I unloose the hemp thread, and a sheer curtain veils the sand-covered horizon from my vision. My fingers trail the cream fabric, the tips tracing the darkening clouds against the light material as my other hand curls into a fist by my thigh, dousing the swirling vortex rising up at the charge in the air.
“Star…?”
Astarte, I correct inwardly, but pinch my lips closed. “Yes, Habi?”
Habi's footsteps echo throughout the mud-brick room as he approaches. “It's time…”

Okay, okay, enough with the teasing!  Feast your eyes upon the lovely cover of Astarte's Wrath!

What do you think?  Are you excited yet?  Astarte's Wrath will be available in July 2012.  To learn more about the book and its author, you can visit the following:
