Well, hello!

It's been an entire year since I closed the doors of StNC.  One year!  After a year of reading, blogging with Book Brats, and a lot of thought, I realized something: I really, really missed StNC and all of my readers.  With Book Brats on an indefinite hiatus, I decided that now was as good a time as any to make my return.

If you're wondering what you can expect from StNC now that the ship is sailing again, I'll fill you in right now.  I'll be posting regularly, but it won't be as often as before.  I have a 5 year old now and am hoping to go back to school this summer, so everyday posting would be much too stressful for now.  Instead, I'll likely post 2-3 reviews per week and maybe a meme just for fun.  Every once in a while I'm sure I'll share opinions on things relevant to the bookish world, as well.  You'll also begin to see a more eclectic mix of book genres and age ranges.  I discovered that boxing myself into one niche is where my rut began.  I've found that I'm much happier when reading a wider variety of books.  Finally, there will be one more addition.  My friend Hannah from The Book Vortex is going to step in as a contributing blogger.  You can expect to see her about once a week.  Keep an eye out for her first post later this week.

StNC is where I got my start and it's where I hope to be in the future.  While some things have changed, you can still count on honest reviews and my enjoyment of this blog.  I hope those of you who were once my readers will come visit once again and any new readers out there will continue to drop by, as well.  As always, I'm open to comments and look forward to seeing them.  Welcome back!
