WWW Wednesday: April 20, 2011

WWW Wednesdays is another meme from MizB at Should be Reading. Just answer the following questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you'll read next?

What are you currently reading? Currently, I am reading two books:

Eliza's Daughter by Joan Aiken

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

This is one of four library books I have out, so I definitely need to work through this one in a timely manner. It shouldn't be too hard. So far, I really love it.

What did you recently finish reading?

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

I liked Shiver a bit better, but this one was definitely a good read. I can't wait until Forever comes out.

What do you think you'll read next?

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I borrowed the entire series from my friend, Nikki, so I want to get these read, too. I wouldn't want to keep her books from her for too long. Also, we have a bit of a bet going on this series. The terms: If I don't love it, she'll treat the next time we go out for coffee and cupcakes. LOL

What are you currently reading?

I just finished part one of Julie Kagawa's The Iron Queen late last night/early this morning (however you want to look at it). So far, this is my favorite book in the trilogy. It's going to be awesome.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong yesterday. I really liked this one and already have the second book on hold at the library! Hopefully I can pick it up today.

What do you think you'll read next?

I loved Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver so much that I ran out the same day I finished it to buy Linger. I'm pretty sure that I will be reading it as soon as I finish my current read.

I'm almost half-way through Tyger Tyger. I'm trying my best not to be nit-picky, but I am going to have to mention it in my review.

What did you recently finish reading?

I absolutely loved Wither. It was so easy to get lost in Rhine's thoughts and surroundings. I can't wait for book two!

What do you think you'll read next?

I'll probably read The Summoning next since it's a library book and due in less than ten days. I've heard mixed reviews but am very curious about this book.

Waiting On Wednesday & WWW Wednesday: March 30, 2011

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event from Jill at Breaking the Spine. To participate, simply share that book(s) you are eagerly awaiting the release of and report back to Breaking the Spine with the link to your post. Clicking the image above will take you straight to her post and link widget.

This week I am waiting on The Betrayal of Maggie Blair by Elizabeth Laird. This is one of the galleys I was robbed of the chance to read by Adobe's unwillingness to release a version of Digital Editions for Linux. It's been four years, Adobe! Don't you think it's about time?

I am almost half-way finished with Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. Things have finally started picking up and I've even started mentally berating the heroine for some of her actions.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished Nightshade by Andrea Cremer. I wasn't too crazy about the characters in this book, but I really did like the plot. It's rare for me to like one but not the other.

What do you think you'll read next?

I really want to read Wither next, but I still have several library books to get through, so I'll likely read Ink Exchange next so I can get through the two Wicked Lovely books I borrowed and return them to the library on time.
