My WoW pick for this week is Dance of the Red Death, the follow-up to Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin, coming April 23, 2013 from Greenwillow Books.  I adored Masque, so I am very eager to get my hands on Dance.

This week I'm waiting on the third book in The Goblin Wars series, When the Stars Threw Down Their Spears by Kersten Hamilton.  It will be released on June 4, 2013 from Clarion Books and I simply can not wait!  I've enjoyed the series more and more as it has progressed, so I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I'm back!  It's been 4 months since my last WoW post.  Four months!  I'm not entirely sure how regularly I will be able to do these, but for now I hope to participate often again.  I'm still trying to get back into my personal blogging rhythm, so to speak, so things are still fairly sporadic around here.  Hopefully that will change soon.

This week, the book I am most desperately waiting on is Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers, coming April 2, 2013 from Houghton Mifflin.  I absolutely LOVED Grave Mercy, so I am positively drooling now that I've seen the cover for the next.  Must. have. it!

Why I'm Waiting: I adore fantasy and this one sounds absolutely stunning.  I'm very curious about how p.o.v. will be handled and what style narration will be used.

Why I'm Waiting: I love the idea of a story about monster-fighters masquerading as super heroes.  I'm dying to get my hands on this one just so I can see what's what.

Why I'm Waiting: I love love LOVE stories about selkies.  The premise for this particular book sounds utterly fantastic.  I can't wait to read it!

Dark Companion by Marta Acosta (coming July 3, 2012 from Tor Teen)

Why I'm Waiting: Dark Companion sounds like just the right combination of mystery and supernatural.  I'm really looking forward to reading it!

Why I'm waiting: I absolutely adore this series and have been waiting for what feels like an age to find out the title... and the description... and the cover.  Suffice it to say that I was beyond excited to finally find out all about the third book in the Fairytale Retellings series. 

Eve & Adam by Michael Grant & Katherine Applegate (coming October 2, 2012 from Feiwel & Friends)

Sixteen-year-old Evening Spiker lives an affluent life in San Francisco with her mother, EmmaRose, a successful geneticist and owner of Spiker Biotech. Why I'm waiting: I am completely intrigued by the description for this book.  I want to find out more about what this EmmaRose has done! 

Timepiece by Myra McEntire (coming June 12, 2012 from EgmontUSA)

Why I'm waiting: I have become more and more of a fan of zombie fiction, so this one caught my eye immediately.

Why I'm Waiting: I love a good historical fiction.  I find Venice so very fascinating, so a YA mystery set there sounds really, really good.

Why I'm Waiting: There is just so much about this book that screams "awesome."  I'm a huge fan of ghost stories, so a story surrounding the ghost of a murder victim haunting her killer sounds so very intriguing.

There have been so many fantastic cover reveals in the past week that I wasn't quite sure as to what I wanted to pick for my Waiting on Wednesday post this week.  I decided that this week calls for a 3 part WoW, just so I can fit in as many fantastic books as I possibly can.

Pick number 1 is the follow-up to one of my favorite 2012 debuts.  Lucky for me, its release date has been announced as October 9, 2012, so I won't have a year-long wait on my hands.

My second pick is the third book in a series, the last two of which I devoured voraciously.  With a release date of October 2, my October to-read list grows even further.

Why I'm waiting on it: That plot description has me completely sold.  I can't wait to get my hands on this book.  It already has a home on my "books I would dance a jig for" list.
