Book Blogger Hop: May 20 - May 23

Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by Crazy-For-Books. It is a way for book bloggers to connect and discover new blogs they might enjoy.

Every week there is a new question. This week, the question is:

If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?

I know I review mostly YA paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and dystopian, but I also happen to be a sucker for Nora Roberts's paranormal romance series. If I could spend one day in a fictional world it would have to be Three Sisters Island from her Three Sisters Island trilogy. The idea of a little cottage by the woods sounds very appealing to me right now. I would love to get away for some peace, quiet, and reading. Also, Cafe Book sounds like a pretty awesome book store and I would love to hang out in a place like that.

  1. I've never read Nora Roberts (just not my cup of tea) but the idea of a cottage in the middle of nowhere sounds so appealing right now.

I chose Diagon Alley, which is as completely opposite to a quiet cottage as you can get, I guess.

  9. I love your blog design! So elegant.

I've been reading a lot of dystopian too, and none of those are places I'd want to actually go to! LOL. I chose Rivendell, the elven city from Lord of the Rings, which isn't a cozy cottage, but is pretty peaceful in the woods.

  14. Happy Hop Day!
    New follower here.

I didn't know she wrote paranormal either but that's not too much of a surprise to me. Nora is awesome. I can't even begin to wrap my head around the amount of books she puts out a year.

    Have a great weekend.

OMG I love Gilmore Girls! I was so sad when that show went off the air. I also adore all things Jane Austen.

  18. Hi, I'm a new follower... and I really liked the Three Sisters Trilogy! It's been a while since I've read them and now I wished I picked that location! How peaceful it would be to live by the sea, and I agree about Cafe Book! I've been searching for a place like that near me with no luck.

  20. A little cottage by the woods sounds SO nice. To be surrounded only by the sounds of nature... do you mind picking me up to accompany you before you leave for there? ;)

I haven't read the Three Sisters Island... or any of Nora's books, actually. But I didn't realise she wrote paranormal too! I'll have to look them up. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  26. Hey there, hopping by late as I was at BEA this week. I have read one or two of the Nora Roberts book you are talking about and I do remember the lovely setting. It sounds like you have all the time in the world to do whatever you'd like there!
