This week, yours truly is the featured blog! Welcome to all of my new and old visitors. I look forward to visiting all of you at your own blogs.
This week's question is:
Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten? This is a tough one! I think I am up to the challenge, though. Here goes nothing!
- Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
- Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
- Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen
- Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
- Divine by Mistake by P.C. Cast
- Divine by Choice by P.C. Cast
- The Green Man: Tales from the Mythic Forest edited by Ellen Datlow & Terri Windling
- The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
- The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa
- The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
Great question. I think I've only read two of the books on your list. :) Old follower hopping through.

ReplyDeleteHi I'm a new follower from the hop. I am loving everything about your blog - your header is so great! Jane Eyre is also on my list, that book was the inspiration for our first daughter's name so it will always hold a special place in my heart (besides that fact that it is an amazing book!).

When making my list, I also tried to pick books that I both like and reread. Love your list.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Choices! I picked Wuthering Heights for my 'classic' edition. I just love that book for some reason. It made me sort of proud that a woman would break the rules so long ago

I am your newest follower, well done on the feature.
ReplyDeleteI would take my kindle (it would last 1 month) and then 9 of my fattest books which is mostly myths and legends and because there are so many stories in each you would take forever to remember them.
Also an Edgar Allan Poe as it takes an age to get through his so it would keep me going
Hello! Stopping by on the blog hop!

Hi, New follower.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a tough question but I think maybe something that would inspire me to write--after all I'd be trapped in a bomb shelter and I'd need something to do when I finished reading.
