From Goodreads:

"Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

An eBook exclusive story from Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series."

What I Thought

Okay, so I may have been so pleased with The Iron King that I decided to pull up Winter's Passage on my NOOK (which I had downloaded before I even knew it was part of the Iron Fey series; go figure). I also may have sat down and read it within 45 minutes. This novella picks up immediately where The Iron King leaves off and details the perils Ash and Meghan experience on their way to the Unseelie court. I won't spoil it by telling you who/what is hunting them, but I think you will get a real kick out of it. I know I did. I have to say, though, that I wish it had been one chapter longer. It left off very abruptly. It may be short, but it's a nice read. I gave it 4 hoots.
